Damn, you guys read this page a lot more than I thought anyone would! So. Uh, hi. You've reached the 'all about Michelle Taylor' page of the site. Ha ha. No blatant Myspace-Style photos show up on this page unless you click some of the text links. I'd advise you not to. *snicker* If you're SUPER interested in me you can check out my art website air-lobster.com, which has pages of links where you might be able to catch me at online as well as more Bio info.
Wow, I detest my first name. Don't ever call me Michelle - nothing has softened my hatred of the damned monicker even through the 30+ years I've heard it. You can call me Elly, or, failing that, try Angel. Not like I'm a good angel, mind you - it's just a hanger-on from my old "sanjisangel" username. I'm a dirty-minded old gal with a wild many-year love (at last count, I've been an OP fan for eight years) for the green-haired Zoro like no other. Before I got married I was seriously considering changing my last name to 'Roronoa', so...yeah.
I'm dyslexic. I tend to type quickly and reverse words when I'm excited, and despite frequent spell checks I often twist words around. Be kind if you find a mistake. I also write self-insert (what some unkind people refer to as Mary Jane or Mary Sue) stories and I get many flames because of that. Once my email and (old) website were hacked by an entire gang of preteens. They were desperately trying to prove I was a pedophile and even tried to ask me out multiple times, baiting me. EW, okay? So yeah let me stress that I'm married and not a dangerous pervert. Just a regular one.
I've been sometimes known as Sanji's Angel or Roronoas, previously known as L4J, and my maiden name was Mango. I obsess over a lot of things besides Zoro (although he's the top of the list). Some of these other things include lobsters, coffee, sushi, toy poodles, macabre video games (the Silent Hill series being my favorite of all time) and beanie babies. I'm a freelance illustrator with so much in my head my art site "air-lobster.com" (ha, lobsters - told you) couldn't handle it all. Like most of us do when we're bored, I scroll around the internet from time to time. At last the lack of his having a really good fansite made me angry and I decided it was about time for that to end. Here it is, and I'll keep it up with the fervent love only a crazy fangirl has.
That said, my husband is very tolerant of my love for a 2D character and he helps me out from time to time. He shows up on sites like Roliana as "Roronoa Zoro", getting me gift art and generally trying to help out the only way he can with the site. I use Zoro's name often to speak of him, seeing as his real name is as close to Zoro as anything could get.
Bless him. I wouldn't be able to do any of this without his support. I have many health issues. Besides a few lovely "family traits" like frequent nosebleeds and cluster/migraine headaches, I've got low blood pressure disease and I tend to pass out a lot for that reason. I also have a pretty bad injury (for life) from a retail chain I used to work for and a few other really odd ailments. The love of my family and the support of my husband and online friends help a lot.
